JOLLANG, Sep 28: Fifteen dance troupes representing various tribes of Arunachal Pradesh participated in the annual ‘modern traditional dance competition’ organised by Don Bosco College here on Thursday.
Kine Nane and group, who presented an Adi dance, stood first, while the EK Boys, who presented a Nyishi dance, came second. Cash prizes and certificates were awarded to the winner teams.
Earlier, the rector of the college, Fr CC Jose in his address exhorted the students to preserve and promote their own culture.
