DAPORIJO, Oct 12: Upper Subansiri Deputy Commissioner, Danish Ashraf has appealed every officer concerned to take up ‘Swachhata Pakhwada’ programme on mission mode and co-operate with all stakeholders for its success.
He was addressing a gathering during an awareness campaign organized by the District Urban Development Agency at Govt. Bazar ME School under Swachhata Pakhwada here on Thursday.
Daporijo UPO, G Belo informed the gathering that the Swachhata Pakhwada programme has been launched by the Govt. of India on Oct 1 and it will culminate on Oct 15 next.
ZPM-Cum-Chairman Clean Dapo and Green Dapo, Rocky Mothu administered the Swachhata pledge and advised the students to keep their school campus and surroundings clean. He also advised them to propagate the message of Swachh Bharat Mission in villages and towns.
