Debate competition marks Vigilance Week

JOLLANG, Oct 29: As part of the Vigilance Week being observed across the country, the North Eastern Development Finance Corporation (NEDFi) conducted a debate competition on the topic, ‘Corruption-free India – A responsibility solely of the government’, at HIM International School here on Monday.
Gumsang Dodum won the competition, while Tana Dopum became the runner-up. Mizon Jilen bagged the third position, and class 6 student Joram Mercy received the consolation prize.
Among others, NEDFi Itanagar branch manager Alen Nabam and assistant manager Minu Gamlin attended the programme.
In Lower Dibang Valley district, the NHPC’s Dibang Multipurpose Project (DMP) in Roing launched the Vigilance Week on Monday with DMP general manager Biswajit Basu administering pledge to the project’s employees to strive to ensure integrity and transparency in all spheres of their activities.
