CHANGLANG, Nov 29: One Khunman Hangsik(28),self-styled Rajapio and Keejen Chakde (23)self-styled private of banned outfit NSCN(R) were apprehended at early hours of 27 November last during a joint operation of Changlang Police and 14th Assam Rifles launched at New Sallang village here.
A point 32 pistol along with a magazine and four live rounds, three detonators and Rs. 6,500cash were also seized from the duo.
The Changlang police has initiated a criminal case vide CLG PS C/No. 29/2018 U/S 384/511 IPC R/W Sec 25 (1A) Arms Act against the arrested persons and further investigation is on, according to
ChanglangSuperintendent of Police, J.K Lego.
