NIRJULI, Dec 6: A cement concrete road connecting Dikrong Colony to NH 415 was inaugurated here on Thursday by local MLA Techi Kaso.
Addressing the residents, Kaso assured to work to meet the people’s need for road, electricity, water supply, school and medical facility. He added that the commitments he made to the people of Dikrong Colony have mostly been fulfilled.
Responding to a memorandum, the MLA said it would also be taken care of in time, and urged the people to have patience.
Former IMC deputy chief councillor Tarh Nachung, Naharlagun PWD Executive Engineer Techi Nabo, local public leaders and other officials were present on the occasion.
Among others, the Dikrong Colony Welfare Committee’s chief patron Vijaya Dupit, president Tagia Ginglo and general secretary Chakpu Tarang also spoke.
