PASIGHAT, Dec 7: NGO Nyobo-Lamkang has donated Rs 71,061 through the East Siang district administration for the families affected by the fire accident that occurred at Mongku village recently.
Members of the Nyobo-Lamkang had conducted a donation campaign in order to collect fund to assist the affected families. More than eight families were rendered homeless by the fire accident which occurred on the midnight of 29 November.
Pasighat ADC Tatdo Borang while handing over the amount to one Oyin Komut at Mongku village on Friday commended Nyobo-Lamkang president Okom Tamuk, secretary general Karunath Pajing and coordinator Tado Muang for the noble gesture. (DIPRO)
