TISSA, Jan 14: The 36th battalion of the CRPF distributed sewing machines among needy women here in Longding district as part of its civic action programme on Tuesday.
The programme, which was held with the intent of providing employment opportunities to the people of the area, was organised on the request of the people of Tissa and nearby villages.
Longding SP Rohit Kumar Meena and Sennua village chief Jitwang Wangham urged the CRPF to conduct similar programmes to help the economically weaker locals of the area.
