ITANAGAR, Feb 4: The Arunachal Pradesh Police Welfare Society (APPWS) on Sunday organized a mural painting event to show the positive/human face of police to the people.
Twenty-six students from various schools and colleges of the capital complex and children from police families participated in it.
“The participants showed their optimistic points of view regarding the police force through their artwork, expressing the need of justice and the relation of police with the common people, projecting the message ‘Police your friend and well-wisher’,” said an APPWS release.
“The APPWS team is happy to act as a bridge between the APP and the community to let them appreciate each other’s role and responsibility in the society,” the release said.
