DEOMALI, Feb 7: Thirty-three women participated in a training programme on scientific goat farming organised by the Tirap KVK at its campus here on Thursday.
KVK Head Dr DS Chonnkar spoke on the scope of scientific livestock farming in the district, and advised the trainees to adopt scientific practices to obtain higher income from their livestock.
Veterinary scientist Dr Parimita Duttahad made a PowerPoint presentation on various aspects of scientific goatery, such as selection of suitable breed, housing, feeding, and breeding goats.
