RONO HILLS, Jun 21: The two-day state level orientation workshop on ‘Understanding ODL Regulations 2017’ concluded with the celebration of International Yoga Day (IYD) in the mini-auditorium of Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU) here on Thursday.
Earlier, workshop coordinator Moyir Riba presented a report on the workshop. She said the workshop “has renewed the relations between the RGU’s Institute of Distance Education (IDE) and its study centres.”
IDE Director Prof Ashan Riddi said the workshop was “beneficial for coordinators from all learner support centres of various colleges spread across the state, and for the IDE itself.”
Speaking on the occasion of IYD, the university’s Physical Education HoD Prof Anil Mili said “yoga can help regulate the body, mind and soul,” and encouraged the participants to “dedicate at least five minutes to yoga” every day.
