KIMIN, Jul 1: Governor BD Mishra visited the Indo-Tibetan Border Police’s (ITBP) recruit training centre (RTC) here in Papum Pare district on Monday, and interacted with the ITBP officers.
Established in 2011 as the 10th Bn ITBP’s campus, the training centre has now become a centre of repute.
The governor was briefed on the facilities available at the centre by the ITBP’s NE Frontier Inspector General Sanjeev Raina and RTC DIG Mandhir Ekka.
Expressing appreciation for the ambience of the training centre, the governor said “the location is perfectly suitable for training purposes,” and emphasized on imparting quality training to the new entrants and in-service personnel “for moulding them as professionally sound, physically tough and mentally alert and emotionally confident combatants.”
Mishra was accompanied by Commissioner to Governor, RP Upadhyaya. (Raj Bhavan)
