ZIRO, Jul 22: The Apatani Students’ Union (ASU) in a representation to the Lower Subansiri deputy commissioner on Monday apprised him of the poor mobile network connectivity in Ziro and urged him to initiate strict action against the telecommunication operators.
Stressing on the need for quality internet connectivity, ASU general secretary Nada Kuru said lack of quality internet connectivity here “has led to loss of many opportunities by students and general public in the digital age where almost everything, starting from admission process to the conduct of examination, has gone online.”
Kuru informed that the DC has called a meeting of all stakeholders on 26 July to resolve the issue.
