AALO, Sep 16: A district level games and sports competitions under the Chief Minister’s Samast Shiksha Yojna (CMSSY) was conducted at the GHSS playground here in West Siang district from 13 to 15 September.
Bagra secondary school (Aalo West) clinched the men’s football and the girls’ volleyball titles, beating Liromoba GHSS and Pakam secondary school (Aalo East), respectively.
Nehru GHSS beat Aalo Pobdi secondary school (Aalo East) to clinch the men’s volleyball title, while in the girls’ volleyball event Monigong secondary school beat Kombo secondary school to lift the title.
District Assistant Sports Officer Tumto Loyi distributed the prizes to the winners of the volleyball and football competitions and various track and field events. (DIPRO)
