PASIGHAT, Oct 24: A photo exhibition on the life and philosophy of Mahatma Gandhi to commemorate his 150th birth anniversary was organized by the Regional Outreach Bureau of Itanagar here at the Kendriya Vidyalaya School in East Siang district on Thursday.
Some important photographs related to Gandhi from birth to death and his participation in the independence movement was displayed on the occasion.
Regional Outreach Bureau, Arunachal Pradesh Region Director, HR Keshvamurthy and Field Outreach Bureau, Pasighat In-charge Mihir Kumar Jha explained in detail, the various phases of Gandhi’s life and advised children to practice swachhta in everyday life.
Around 250 primary and higher secondary students participated in the programme.
