NAHARLAGUN, Nov 8: Thirty members of different self-help groups (SHG) were apprised of various financial assistance schemes, subsidies, and low-interest small loan schemes for SHGs during a meeting organised for them by the Rural Development Society at Barapani here on Wednesday.
Sponsored by the NABARD, the programme was conducted by the NABARD’s Itanagar regional office’s manager and bankers, besides officials from the Apex Bank’s Naharlagun branch, the Apex Bank’s women branch, and the Rural Bank’s Itanagar branch as resource persons.
Later, a project implementation and monitoring committee for SHGs was constituted.
