NAMSAI, Jan 15: The Chowkham battalion under the aegis of Lohit Brigade of Dao Division organised a weapons and equipment display at the Arunachal University of Studies (AUS) on Wednesday here in Namsai district to commemorate Army Day.
The programme aimed at reaching out to local youths and to educate them about the Indian Army.
The Army personnel briefed the enthusiastic gathering of students about the various weapons and equipments used by the Army.
Students from AUS and St Mary School Samuguri, Namsai were also informed of the various employment opportunities in the Indian Army.
