PASIGHAT, Jan 22: The 10th and the last Sarkar Apke Dwar (SAD) programme of the year 2019-20 was organized at the Mirbuk Government School here in East Siang district on Tuesday.
According to nodal officer SK Sarma (DPO), 28 departments, including bankers and legal service providers, extended their valuable services to the people of Tigra-Muirbuk area during the programme.
Earlier, Pasighat East MLA Kaling Moyong, while inaugurating the programme said, “Doorstep delivery of public services was a revolutionary initiative of the Pema Khandu-led state government.”
The MLA said that the SAD was the first-of-its-kind initiative in the state for the citizens to avail all government services at their doorstep. He appreciated the district administration in particular and all government departments as a whole for their tireless services, they rendered during SAD in the district.
Many government officers, GBs and villagers were present on the occasion. (DIPRO)
