BOMDILA, Sep 10: A team of officials from the Rural Development Department, led by Special Secretary, Nyali Ete visited the villages incorporated under Nafra Rurban cluster in the district on September 8.
The team interacted with the public and Panchayat leaders and apprised them of the objective, options and scope of the Rurban Mission.
The villagers in turn assured to extend all possible support during the field survey and investigation works that would be carried out by the field officials of the line departments during deficiency analysis for preparing the Integrated Cluster Action Plan (ICAP).
The team covered Upper Dzang, Nakhu, Nachiban and Jerigaon villages under Nafra circle.
They also inspected MGNREGA, IAY/PMAY and the 14th Finance Commission works under RD and Panchayat, besides the CC drainage at Jerigaon, and boundary wall and Anganwadi building under NREGA at Nachiban.
The Special Secretary also inspected the under construction Zilla Parishad Chairperson building at Bomdila.
The official team comprised of Joint Director (Tech) M Ronya of State Project Management Unit, PD Tasso Gambo, Nafra BDO T Pao, APO (Tech) N Logu, Deputy Registrar K Bhuyan and A Nath, Engineer IIT Guwahati as State Technical Support Agency under Rurban Mission. (DIPRO)
