DC emphasizes on role of students to spread message of cleanliness

PASIGHAT, Sep 20: Students have a major role in spreading the message of cleanliness in the community, said East Siang Deputy Commissioner Tamiyo Tatak.
He exhorted students to contribute in the initiative for “No Plastic” movement in East Siang and make the ongoing ‘Swachhta Hi Sewa’ event a grand success.
Addressing the students of Kendriya Vidyalaya at the launch of the cleanliness and plantation drive in the school campus, the DC said the best tribute to the Father of the Nation would be volunteering in the cleanliness drives of schools, homes, villages, towns, cities and colleges.
The cleanliness drive is jointly organized by East Siang District Administration, Kendriya Vidyalaya, 186 BN CRPF, 5 IRBN, CHF, PMC and joined by citizen volunteers.
Pasighat KV Principal, B Ekka informed that cleanliness activities are priority for the school and is being taken up by the Nirmal Sena, which comprises of volunteers and Scouts and Guides. (DIPRO)
