Rijiju appeals for unity on refugee issue

NEW DELHI, Sep 20: Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Kiren Rijuju assured to stand by the interest of Arunachal Pradesh and appealed to everyone to stand united on the refugee issue in the state.
His assurance came when a team of the Arunachal Student Union Delhi (ASUD),
led by its President Likha Akash called upon the MoS at New Delhi on Wednesday, where discussions on the Chakma-Hajong refugee issue and the Tibetan Rehabilitation Policy 2014 were held.
Rijiju also called for spreading proper awareness on the issue in all sections of Arunachal Pradesh, according to a communiqué from the ASUD.
ASUD General Secretary Dewan Natung, Advisor Obang Ngupok and Member Kasha Blayu were also part of the team.
