ITANAGAR, Sep 24: Bamang Taji Football Club (BTFC) and Gora Makik SC (GMSC) won their respective matches in the TK Arunachal Super League being held at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium, Naharlagun.
BTFC beat Nirjuli United FC 3-2 and Gora Makik SC edged past Deed Circle FC 1-0 to earn full points. Gyammar Apa scored the winning goal for GMSC in the first half.
BTFC took the lead in the early minutes through goal from Hiba Degar, which was equalized by NUFC in 31st minute. The equalizer was scored by Taba Taram.
The scores were level 1-1 at halftime.
Tacha Doyom and Hiba Degar put BTFC in commanding position by scoring two more goals in the second half. NUFC fought back and scored through Tana Tasar to reduce the margin of defeat to 2-3.
The organizing committee has rescheduled the timings of the remaining league matches.
As per the revised timing, matches to be played on Saturdays will start at 2:30 pm and the Sunday matches will be played at 12:45 pm and 2:45 pm respectively.
