NAHARLAGUN, Sep 30: Gora Makik Sporting Club defeated Nirjuli United FC 1-0 in a keenly contested match of the TK Arunachal Super League being held at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium, Naharlagun on Saturday.
The all important goal scored by Tsering Sherpa came in the 79th minute.
On Sunday, Tagung Neri FC will meet Todo Utd FC at 12:45 PM in the first match and the second match will be held between Capital Complex and Bamang Taji FC at 2:30 PM.
Meanwhile, Capital Complex FC roped in a new Manpuri player for the ongoing league.
According to Arunachal Pradesh Football Association release, Santosh Mayanglambam has signed for Capital Complex for the ongoing TK Arunachal Super League.
Mayanglambam (31) had played for some top football clubs of the country, like Mohun Bagan (2002), Sporting De Goa FC (2004), Football Club Bangalore (Now Bangaluru FC, 2005), Tollygunge Agrammi (2006) and Navajoti FC, Guwahati (2015) etc.
He represented Mohun Bagan at AFC during 2003.
He was also member of the National Football Team and represented the country at Sri Lanka, Maldives, Japan and Malaysia during 2003.
