ITANAGAR, Oct 3: Siyum Nacho Limeking Taksing Border Area Intellectual Forum rued lack of road connectivity to Taksing circle even after more than 50 years of its creation.
Highlighting the hardships faced by the people of the area due to absence of road connectivity, the Forum demanded immediate execution of the defense road from Kete Nallah to Taksing circle and Gelle Seniak to Maza Border outpost.
The Forum proposed new road connectivity from Mede Nallah to Rijala and Tongdara Pass and Keojoring to Kodo Pass near McMahan Line under Nacho circle.
These roads are of immense importance to guard the international border with China, the Forum said in a release, and appealed to the Central as well as State Government to look into the matter.
The Forum also demanded early establishment of Army School and Hospital under Siyum Nacho Limeking Taksing circle.
