Fire claims six houses in Hapoli

ZIRO, Oct 10: At least six houses were burnt down and two RCC buildings partially damaged when a devastating fire broke out in the wee hours of Tuesday at Paraline in Hapoli.
Reportedly, the fire broke out at around 5 AM and was doused by the fire services with the help of locals by 6 AM. The DIPRO reported that no property could be retrieved as the fire started in the house located at the entrance of the tightly-packed colony.
Although there has been no report of any casualty, livestock could not be rescued.
Immediate relief of Rs 3800 was handed over to all the victims by CO Olak Apang on behalf of the District Administration on the spot.
Meanwhile, the team of All Ziro Hapoli Youth Association (AZHYA) and General Medical Colony Welfare Association (GMCWA) distributed household relief material to the fire victims.
Both the teams appealed to other NGOs and organizations to come forward and provide helping hand to the victims.
