ITANAGAR, Oct 20: All Nyishi Students’ Union (ANSU) has in a release on Friday appealed to the state government to initiate early steps towards ensuring creation of Pakke Kessang district.
It has also lauded the present state government under the leadership of Chief Minister for passing the bill for creation of Kamle district which was the long pending demand of the people.
The XII-Pakke-Kessang Intellectual Forum (XII-PIF), XII- Pakke-Kessang Youth Forum (XII-PKYF) and XII-Pakke-Kessang Indigenous Youth Organization (XII-PIYO) has expressed dismay over exclusion of Pakke-Kessang district in the recently concluded assembly session. It claimed that all the requirements pertaining to creation of Pakke-Kessang district have been fulfilled in every respect and has appealed to the state government to look into the matter for creation of the district at the earliest.
