ITANAGAR, Oct 25: The Unemployed All Arunachal Engineer’s Association (UAAEA) in a memorandum submitted to the Chief Minister on Wednesday sought his immediate intervention to cancel all the officiating AE (E&M) working in the Department of Hydropower Development, claiming that it has paved way for illegal practices of holding up the AE (E&M) without following the norms.
‘The government should also know that advertisements are hardly put in these two departments and thousands are eagerly waiting for it, but the department has time and again neglected the plight of unemployed youths by encouraging the practices of officiating basis’, it claimed and alleged the department of Hydropower Development of not adhering to norms and filling up all the vacant post of AE (E&M) on officiating basis.
It stated that as per the laid norms the department should conduct DPC from JE to AE promotion and the equal proportion of 50:50 should be maintained through promotion and direct recruitment.
