NAHARLAGUN, Oct 25: An Assistant Teacher, Tachang Sono Layang died on spot when his SUV (Scorpio) collided head on with a dumper of a construction company on the Bana-Paleji road in West Kameng district at around 4 PM on October 24.
DSP Gotombo Dajangju informed that Tachang was an AT at Tepalinang Primary School in Bameng Circle and he was driving towards Rupa.
After conducting a post mortem, the Rupa unit police handed over the body to relatives.
Meanwhile, another accident occurred near Reliance Mall in Itanagar at around 9.30 PM on October 24 between a Maruti-800 and Alto-800 in which two women reportedly sustained injures.
