ITANAGAR, Oct 28: The Arunachal Civil Society (ACS) has requested the district administration of Lower Subansiri district to cancel the land compensation of 40 claimants under the Trans-Arunachal Highway (TAH).
In a representation, the ACS claimed that at least 40 land compensation claimants are allegedly illegally claiming the compensation, stating that the proposed TAH between 7 to 11.5 Kilo meters falls under Talley Reserve Forest Area.
The ACS objected the bill terming it illegally prepared by the joint team for land compensation assessment team of Ziro circle on TAH in favour of 40 illegal claimants from serial number 614 to 652 of land owners’ list.
