PASIGHAT, Nov 6: The All Arunachal Pradesh Trans-Arunachal Highway Welfare Association (AAPTAHWA), currently on a district tour, in a meeting on Monday, discussed various issues relating to the TAH.
The meeting discussed about land acquisition and compensation issues of the TAH affected people, their grievances and measures to be taken to ensure speedy progress of the highway construction work.
Starting on October 30, the touring AAPTAHWA team has already conducted similar awareness meeting at Aalo, Yingkyong and Siang. The team will wind up their tour programme in Namsai.
The main objective of the tour programme is to expedite the construction works of TAH by creating public awareness.
