DOIMUKH, Nov 6: The Arunachal Vikas Parishad (AVP) on Monday organized the state level archery competition at Doimukh Higher Secondary School field.
Sixteen, out of the 30 selected archers from seven districts, who participated in the competition, were selected to represent the state in the National Level Tribal Sports Meet scheduled to be held in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh in the last week of December.
Two archers, namely Nabam Rikom from Doimukh and Topha Wangsu of Longding were facilitated by AVP’s Papum Pare district unit President Taba Takam for their contribution in promoting archery and grooming new archers in their respective districts.
