LUMLA, Nov 6: Continuing his annual constituency tour, Parliamentary Secretary for RWD, Jambey Tashi visited and addressed public meetings at Kungba and Sazo villages on Monday and emphasised on taking up extensive organic agriculture and horticulture activities.
Deliberating on the hazardous aftermath of forest fire, he called on the people of the agricultural hamlets to shed the ill practice of setting forest fire and warned defaulters of stringent action and penalties.
He stressed on quality works, preservation of the rich Monpa traditional and cultural heritage, mass enrolments in schools, besides emphasising on health care and proper sanitary habits.
He further assured to procure superior quality drugs, medicines and testing equipment for CHC Lumla to extend quality healthcare for the masses through his personal means.
Lumla CDPO Tenzin Tsomu, Deputy Director of Agriculture Lobsang Tsering and District Horticulture Officer Kesang Chombay shed light on different schemes under their respective departments and assured all assistance. (Tawang Vigilance)
