ITANAGAR, Nov 11: MP Ninong Ering stressed the need to improve quality in primary education and said that all Government schemes, like Sarva Shiksha Abhyan and Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan can achieve the goals if implemented properly.
He opined that the role of private sector in the field of education is bound to increase in the days to come.
He was speaking at the Apex Professional University (APU) to mark the National Education Day November 11.
National Education Day is celebrated every year on November 11 to commemorate the birthday anniversary of Maulana Kabul Alam Azad, the first Education Minister of independent India.
He also mentioned that education needs to focus on exploring and developing the talent of students.
The symposium with theme “Education in the 21st century” was inaugurated by Member of Parliament Ninong Ering by lighting lamp along with Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. (Dr.) AA Dange.
He emphasised on the importance of research and development and need for transforming patent technology into production which eventually will lead to a quality products.
He also stressed the need for improving quality of primary education and using Information Technology in teaching and learning process.
