RONO HILLS, Nov 20: Students of the Department of English, Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU) staged a musical drama in the main auditorium on noted administrator, creative writer and Kendriya Sahitya Akademi Awardee, Yeshe Dorjee Thongchi’s novel, Mouna Ounth Mukhar Hridoy (Silent Lips, Murmuring Hearts).
The drama showed Arunachal Pradesh’s road and construction works during 1950s that ended in the understanding and unity between two communities.
Yeshe Dorjee Thongchi, Professor P K Panigrahi, Vice Chancellor in-charge, Professor Tomo Riba, Registrar in-charge and Professor A Mitra, Finance Officer also witnessed the play which was dramatized and directed by Bompi Riba and coordinated by Head of Department, Professor Bhagabat Nayak.
