Organizations seek thorough investigation into Pinch’s death

ITANAGAR, Nov 22: Claiming foul play in the death of former MLA and Agriculture Marketing Board Chairman, Ngurang Pinch, the Ngurang Youth Welfare Society (NYWS) has in a release on Wednesday appealed to the state government to constitute a Special Investigation Team to conduct a thorough investigation into his mysterious death.
The Society had claimed that despite Pinch’s body being found in the morning around 7.30 am, the incident was reported only at around 1 pm which shows some kind of foul play in his sudden death.
While terming Pinch’s death as a pre-planned murder involving some rich and influential persons and not a mere accident, the Society has appealed to the authorities to arrest those involved in the crime at the earliest.
Meanwhile, the Abo Tani Clan Organization and the All Kimin Students’ Union (AKSU) have in separate releases also urged the state government to initiate CBI inquiry into the death of Pinch soon. The AKSU has further threatened to resort to democratic action in case the authorities fail to launch CBI investigation within a week.
