BHALUKPONG, Dec 1: Colourful cultural program-mes were presented by different tribes of Arunachal-Assam during the All Arunachal Pradesh Border Student Union (AAPBSU) organized inter- state youth festival which concluded here on Nov. 29 last.
Speaking on the occasion, APPBSU President, Tana Sunny Tara highlighted the age-old bond of the people residing in inter-state boundary areas of Arunachal-Assam and said that the festival has been organized with the aim at promoting brotherhood between the people residing in the areas.
A ‘Miss AAPBSU Beauty Contest’ was also organized on the occasion. Bengia Zermin was crowned Miss AAPBSU 2017 while, Nabam Yaten and Techi Priya were crowned as first and second Runners-up.
Bhalukpong DFO and Chairman, Nyishi Elite Society (Assam Unit) also attended the festival.
