CHANGLANG, Dec 2: The Changlang battalion of the Assam Rifles recently arrested two NSCN (IM) operatives and recovered arms and ammunition from the duo.
The battalion arrested Mohonong Tikhak (29) of Longchong village and Ranong Tikhak (28) of Wintong village, both self-styled Privates in the NSCN (IM), and recovered a .22 pistol with five rounds and a magazine, along with other stores including a card of a previously surrendered NSCN (IM) operative.
The duo has since been handed over to the Ledo police outpost. (DIPRO)
