YINGKIONG, Dec 2: The Upper Siang District Planning Office recently organised a three-week-long publicity outreach campaign under the state government’s ‘Sankalp Se Siddhi Tak’ programme across all the administrative areas of the district.
The campaign was organised to generate awareness on the PM’s and the CM’s flagship programmes.
Speaking during the inaugural day on November 9 in Mariyang, Upper Siang Deputy Commissioner, Duly Kamduk, advised the heads of departments to ensure proper implementation of central and state government flagship programmes at the grassroots level. He also urged the officers to ensure that all welfare programmes of the centre and the state percolate down to the actual beneficiaries.
The penultimate day of the programme, held at Pugging village on Saturday, saw the participation of Yingkiong Block ZPM Bading Teng, Pugging ASM Oity Siboh, DPO in-charge Ozing Gao and hundreds of villagers.
