AALO, Dec 13: School students were informed about the harmful effects of tobacco consumption and briefed on the COTPA during an awareness campaign organised at the ITBP secondary school here by the West Siang District Tobacco Control Cell (DTCC) on Thursday.
ITBP Commanding Officer SS Gill and the vice principal of the school advised the students against tobacco consumption, while a psychologist from the DTCC explained about the ill effects of tobacco consumption, and their remedies.
