Union expresses displeasure over delay in road project execution

ROING, Dec 14: The All Idu Mishmi Students’ Union (AIMSU) has expressed displeasure over the delay in the execution of the road construction work from Engalin (in Anelih circle in Dibang Valley district) to Singa-Tuting-Gelling (via Abroka Pass) in Upper Siang district.
The union has claimed that, although the department concerned was directed by the PWD (CZ-B) chief engineer to submit the feasibility study report at the earliest, no survey work has even started as of now.
The student body has also written a letter to State BJP President Tapir Gao, seeking his intervention.
‘The area has no road connectivity and the project that has come as a boon, if completed, will bring all-round development in the area, and in the state as a whole,’ said the AIMSU.
