SEPPA, Jan 19: The Itanagar-based 138 Bn CRPF distributed 40 water filters each at Seppa and Bana on Friday as part of its civic action programme.
East Kameng Deputy Commissioner Gaurav Singh Rajawat and SP Vikash Kumar expressed appreciation for the CRPF for its contribution and appealed to the public to support the police and the CRPF in maintaining law and order in the district.
Commandant of 138 Bn CRPF, Paras Nath expressed hope that the distribution programme would help people in need. He also called for focusing on maintaining cleanliness to prevent waterborne diseases.
Officials including Circle Officer Laxmi Dodum, Drs Kiran Kumari, Shriparakash and Shiddamallayya, and Assistant Commandant Pankaj Kumar were also present at the programme. (DIPRO)
