AALO, Jan 19: Schemes to be implemented under the Chief Minister’s Aadarsh Gaon (CMAG) at Kambu, Taramori, Sago, Kugi Pomte, Tarsu Mobuk, and Geching villages in West Siang and Lower Siang districts were discussed during a meeting chaired by West Siang Deputy Commissioner Swetika Sachan here on Friday.
Addressing the officials, the DC stressed on launching “viable and feasible schemes that will largely benefit the people in the long run.”
She said the schemes should be monitorable, and that stress should be laid on drainage, community toilets, etc, with proper specifications and standardization.
DPO Hengi Riba outlined the schemes from various constituencies passed by the gram sabhas.
Officials of the line departments and BDOs of the two districts also participated in the meeting. (DIPRO)
