ITANAGAR, Jan 21: The state BJP has issued a show cause notice to MLAs Pani Taram and Paknga Bage for anti-party activities.
‘Taking cognizance of the anti-party activities reportedly carried out by Pani Taram, MLA, 21 Koloriang ST Assembly Constituency and Paknga Bage, MLA, 26 Dumporijo ST Assembly Constituency (Associate Member), BJP Arunachal Pradesh issued a show cause notice to both the MLAs as to why disciplinary action should not be taken against them,’ said a statement from the party.
The two MLAs have been given seven days to furnish their reply on the basis of which further action will be decided by the party, it said.
It said the show cause notice has been issued on the recommendation of the party’s state disciplinary action committee, and approved by the core group of the BJP, Arunachal Pradesh.
