RAYANG, Feb 5: Sixty-three farmers and farmwomen benefited from a training programme on ‘Sustainable and quality production technology of Khasi Mandarin’ and ‘Water management of citrus’ conducted at Rayang village in East Siang district on Monday.
The programme was organised by the Pasighat-based ICAR and the College of Horticulture and Forestry, under the ‘AICRP on fruits’ project.
Associate Professor (Fruit Science) Dr L Wangchu and Associate Professor (Agricultural Engineering) Dr SK Pattanaik coordinated the programme.
