Central, state schemes reviewed

PALIN, Feb 7: The third DLMC meeting was held here at the Nyokum Hall here on Wednesday to monitor and review the projects under central and state sponsored schemes implemented in Kra Daadi district.
Heads of departments present in the meeting, gave PowerPoint presentation of the schemes/projects implemented by their respective departments, following which PHED Executive Engineer Likha Tekhi said that there should be greater cooperation amongst the departments to avoid duplicity in schemes.
The APEDA PO informed that the provision for supply of power in off-grid areas can be taken up by the APEDA, for which he requested the working department to include the provision in their DPRs for remote areas.
ZPC Rido Meena questioned the Hydro Power department regarding the delay in completion of the Pagu Hydel Project and suggested that the AE expedite the project.
Calling for regular site inspections by HoDs, DC Pige Ligu suggested that provision for external water and power supply in the structures should be reflected in the DPR of the building construction and the same should be handover to the PHED and Power departments for proper implementation.
