Apang mourns Jamoh’s passing

ITANAGAR, Feb 10: Former chief minister Gegong Apang on Saturday deeply mourned the untimely demise of former state BJP president Kangir Jamoh.
In a condolence message, Apang said, ‘Late Jamoh has been known to me very closely since his student life. As a student leader he was very popular among the student community. Late Jamoh had proved his mettle as capable administrator during his service as circle officer. Later, he resigned from government service, joined the BJP, and contested the assembly election from the Geku-Mariayng constituency.’
‘The death of Jamoh has caused an irreparable loss for all of us and created a great vacuum which cannot be filled up so easily,’ the message read.
Apang prayed to the almighty Donyi-Polo for the eternal peace of the departed soul and for strength to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.
