CM inspects state convention centre

ITANAGAR, Feb 13: Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Tuesday inspected the state-of-the-art Dorjee Khandu State Convention Centre at IG Park here.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the centre during his visit to the state on 15 February.
The convention centre has a main auditorium hall with a seating capacity for 1000, three mini conference halls, a restaurant, an administrative block, a media room, and an open amphitheatre with parking facility for more than 200 vehicles.
The construction of the convention centre was proposed to facilitate convening meetings, organising VIP functions, and such. It has one of the best auditoria in the state, equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure enabling direct telecast, a wall-mounted screen, a visualizer for displaying printed material on screen, controlled lighting and sound, etc, along with wi-fi facility.
The hall is ideal for large conferences, seminars, film screenings, presentations, theatre, and cultural performances. (CMO)
