Retired RKMH doctor dies

ITANAGAR, Feb 16: Dr Sekhar Das, a retired doctor from Ramakrishna Mission Hospital, Itanagar, died on 11 February.
Dr Das had worked as senior specialist (orthopaedics) in the hospital for 32 years. After retirement he was living in Pune, Maharashtra, with his family.
Dr Das was instrumental in opening the orthopaedics department in the hospital, and was the lone orthopaedic surgeon on the North Bank of the Brahmaputra.
The managing committee, monk members and the staff of the hospital offered their condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for peace to the departed soul.
