ITANAGAR, Feb 22: The State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) team, led by SI Tokmin Megu conducted a demonstration cum mock drill on earthquake and fire accidents for school students and staff at Kidzee Smart Kids, Chandranagar here on Thursday.
While Megu gave a PowerPoint presentation on safety measures during earthquake, HC G N Yadav taught about the safety tips during fire accident.
The resource persons also conducted demonstration on the ‘drop, cover and hold’ technique to take care of injured persons during earthquakes, and the ‘stop, drop and roll’ technique during fire mishap.
The entire programme was supervised by Tojo Karga, Commandant 1st AAPBn BHQ, CPV cum Nodal Officer, SDRF Coy.
