PASIGHAT, Feb 25: Pasighat East MLA and Parliamentary Secretary (Disaster Management) Kaling Moyong has termed mechanics as “inseparable” part of the society.
Attending the 11th Foundation Day of the All East Siang Mechanic Union here in East Siang district on Sunday, Moyong said the state government has taken several welfare schemes for the workers, including right of education for their children.
Urging the mechanics and other labourers to work for overall development of the state, Moyong assured them of all possible help from the state government’s end.
Mechanic Union president Oyin Gao highlighted the activities and social services rendered by the union during the last decade.
Among others, Pasighat DFO (Territorial) Tabang Jamoh, Mechanic Union general secretary Jagdish Barman and Pasighat Market Association leader Toi Tasung also spoke on the occasion and requested the mechanics and other labourers to take active role in the development of Pasighat as a smart city in the days to come.
