Association demands regularization of TET qualified teachers

ITANAGAR, Mar 6: The Central Executive Committee of the Arunachal Pradesh Teachers Eligibility Test Qualifiers’ Association (CEC, APTETQA) has appealed to Chief Minister Pema Khandu to take immediate step for regularization of in-service SSA TET qualified teachers in a time-bound manner.
Reminding the chief minister of his announcement during the International Yoga Day celebration on 21 June last year for regularization of the SSA teachers who had qualified CTET/APTET, the association in its memorandum said that the all the vacant posts of SSA PRTs and TGTs should be filled up with TET qualified teachers.
Claiming that the state government had already approved creation of 1130 posts for teaching staff, it further demanded that interview for the posts of PRTs and TGTs should be held in the SPD cum director’s office rather than at the DDSE offices in order to maintain transparency in recruitment system.
